THE INITIATIVE

The REINA Project exists to encourage and support young people in South Texas as they explore higher education and find the right college and program that aligns with their goals—so they can get a quality education and build a strong future right here in the South Texas region.

The REINA Project helps students and families—especially in South Texas—navigate the college journey with clarity and confidence. We offer guidance on choosing a major, exploring college options, connecting with the appropriate admissions professionals, and making informed decisions about higher education. While we have a strong focus on engineering and STEM, we support a wide range of interests—from business and marketing to healthcare and education.

The REINA Project is for anyone who feels unsure about the college process and wants real, honest support.

That includes:

  • Students exploring their options for the first time
  • First-generation college students with no clear roadmap
  • Parents or guardians trying to help their child succeed
  • High school counselors and educators looking for trusted resources
  • Anyone in South Texas who wants help navigating college—no matter the major

The REINA Project is here to help you take the next step.

The REINA Project is dedicated to inspiring, guiding, and empowering students and families in South Texas as they pursue higher education. Rooted in engineering expertise but embracing all majors, we provide honest, accessible support—helping learners navigate college admissions, academic pathways, and campus life with clarity, confidence, and community.

The REINA Project is built to be trustworthy—and here’s why:

  • Community Focused: It is designed specifically to support students and families in South Texas, especially first-generation college students.
  • Experience-Backed: It’s led by someone with professional experience in university recruitment and outreach.
  • Mission-Driven: It doesn’t exist to sell you anything—it exists to help you make informed choices about college and your future.
  • Impact Updates: We also publish regular articles and resources designed to answer real questions about college admissions, major selection, and school comparisons. These articles are carefully researched, sourced from verified university websites, and created with clarity in mind—so that students and families can make informed decisions.

If you’re looking for genuine guidance—not pressure—The REINA Project is designed to be the helping hand many wish they had.
